Environmental & Viral Disruptors:
Rising to the Challenge, Reducing Risk & Future-Proofing Humanity
All-Access Pass to ACNEM Online Conference only $295
Your Role in the Future of Humanity…
You are invited to what is arguably THE most important event in ACNEM's almost 40-year history... it is certainly our most ambitious. We consider the need has never been greater.

How we reduce the risks to ourselves, our families and ultimately our patients is a challenge ACNEM has accepted and we invite you to be part of this unique global event.
Immune System Protection is Key
Research has clearly shown those who are immune-compromised are at greater risk of symptoms and complications, including death. How we protect and harness the body's own immune functions is sadly missing. The theme is the foundation for the 2020 ACNEM Online Conference.
Preparing for What Comes Next
The environment has been front and centre of our national consciousness as Australia has just had a very rude and real awakening. The Black Summer bushfires which ravaged our beautiful country has impacted to some degree on the physical, emotional and mental health of every single one of us. Doctors and patients alike.

We are all connected as individuals and communities, by the land on which we live and so we are all affected.

But this environmental disaster and its fall out doesn't come as a surprise. We were warned and ACNEM is focused on helping our medical practitioners prepare for what comes next.
Long before our country caught fire, we planned the 2020 ACNEM Conference to address the harmful increase in environmental toxins in our atmosphere, our food, our homes and indeed our bodies.... they are even more relevant today.
Diverse Environmental Challenges Affect Health
Health practitioners need to be aware and educated on evidence-based research into the harmful effects of poor air quality, human exposure to moulds and chemical toxins, the potential dangers of Wi-Fi and the many, many other environmental challenges of the modern world., that compromise immune function.

Why? Because the future of healthcare is the fundamental consideration of the whole patient. We should not simply manage chronic disease and dispense medication. As medical and health practitioners we must work to improve our patients physical, mental and emotional well-being.

This summer in Australia one of our greatest fears was realised and Australians will potentially be feeling the health effects of this disaster for years to come.

Now more than ever medical and health practitioners must sit up and take notice.

The 2020 ACNEM Online Conference: Environmental and Vital Disruptors is presented from May 4th to June 27th. The Online Conference brings world-leading experts together to discuss the latest research on environmental and viral factors affecting human health. We will address environmental and viral disruptors and conditions now commonly seen in modern medical practice and the latest diagnosis and treatment options.

This is not a drill... the Air Quality Example

Poor air quality is killing more people worldwide than road accidents* and the tainted air is no longer just overseas.

Hazardous air is measured by an index of 0-500 AQI (Air Quality Index) with readings above 200 considered dangerous. This summer, some areas of our cities and towns recorded readings close to 2,000.
EMF, Possible Carcinogen
Environmental disruptors are not isolated to the atmosphere. Every day we are exposed to tens of thousands of chemicals in our food, homes, personal care products, clothes and furniture. We assume that each has been tested and approved, but the truth is far more complicated. This is a health issue that is easy to miss – and difficult to ignore.
Your patients could be eating fabulous organic food, taking the best supplements, meditating and have a wonderful grasp on healthy living, but mould/mycotoxins in their home could be causing havoc on their health. As medical and health practitioners, you need to know this.
Daily Exposure to Chemicals
In 2011, the World Health Organisation classified Wi-Fi radiation as a 'possible carcinogen'. We know energy has an impact on every atom, not just in the environment but in our bodies as well. We need an independent/not-for-profit evidence-based approach to this issue.
Environmental Impacts to Patients' Health
As we deal with the complex array of chronic diseases our patients present with daily, we also need to understand how environmental disruptors in their many forms affects our patients' health, and why clinical practice is so much more than chronic disease management.

If we want to extend the role of the health practitioner to their full potential, address the causes of chronic disease and improve patient outcomes the 2020 ACNEM Online Conference is a fundamental starting point. It is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of this important area of healthcare impacting us all, yet often being overlooked.

To those doctors working in bushfire-affected towns, ACNEM would like to extend a free invitation to our 2020 Conference (you can reach out to us at [email protected]). We encourage you to attend and learn about the full impact of the health issues affecting your community now, and in the years to come.

ACNEM is proudly independent and not-for-profit. This is a unique offering in healthcare in general, and healthcare education in particular.

We encourage you to join us for this critical learning experience. Knowledge is power, and together we can work to transform global health.
